LAWSUIT FOR JUDICIAL REVIEW OF THE IKN LAW
A number of civil society on behalf of the Aliansi Rakyat Gugat Pemindahan Ibu Kota Negara (Argumen) submitted a formal review of Law Number 3 of 2022 concerning the State Capital (IKN) to the Constitutional Court (MK) in Jakarta, Friday (1/4/2022). This fast-paced discussion made the IKN Law considered to have ignored the considerations put forward by the people, including academics and residents at the IKN location who would be directly affected by the mega project. Apart from closing the full participation of citizens, relocating the capital city is considered insensitive because it was carried out at a time when the economy was just starting to recover after being hit by the Covid-19 pandemic. @Bersihkan Indonesia
