Climate activists from civil society staged an action in front of the Japanese Embassy in Jakarta, Indonesia, to coincide with the momentum of the G7 event in Hiroshima, Japan. The action calls on the G7 countries to immediately stop supporting fossil energy funding and false solutions to the energy transition. This call is addressed to the Japanese government as the host of the G7 this time. As part of this global action, activists wear Japanese school uniforms as a symbol of young people who refuse to lose to the climate crisis.
