Coalition for Energy Justice’s activists from JATAM, WALHI, KRUHA, 350.org, Trend Asia, Enter Nusantara and KNTI unfurled banners and gave speeches while holding an action in front of Marubeni Corporation and PT. Mizuho Indonesia Bank on Jalan M.H. Thamrin, Jakarta, Friday (6/21). Regarding the G20 meeting in Japan at the end of June, the Coalition for Energy Justice held a protest at three offices of Japanese companies, Marubeni Corporation, PT. Mizuho Indonesia Bank and Sumitomo Mitsui Banking Corporation in Jakarta. These Japanese companies have a significant role in dirty energy financing in many places including Indonesia. The same action was also held simultaneously in the Philippines and Japan. Dhemas Reviyanto/Trend Asia.
